Laura’s commitment to her clients and to seeking justice on their behalf has shown through her work over the last 12 years as an advocate for the those who need help. Her compassion and empathy for clients and their situations, combined with her experience, skills and training as a litigator and mediator, enable her to adjust her approach to the matter at hand to seek the best outcome for her clients.

Laura received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1993 and her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 1996.

While at Hofstra, Ms. Mann received numerous awards for her dedication to public service providing legal assistance to those in need through her work at legal services in both Ohio and New Jersey.  and the various leadership roles she assumed. Those experiences were a prelude to a decade of dedication to to public service, seeking justice on behalf of her clients and her communities both in Ohio and New Jersey. Those years of dedication have revealed Ms. Mann to be a passionate advocate for her clients, and have helped her hone her skills in all aspects of litigation - - expertise she now applies to her private practice representing individuals and small business owners and assisting litigants to creatively and peacefully resolve their legal disputes through mediation.

Ms. Mann's many years of experience in and out of the courtroom representing clients have helped her hone her skills in all aspects of litigation - - proficiency she now applies to her private practice representing individuals, small business owners, nonprofit corporations and assisting litigants with protecting their interests utilizing her finely-tuned advocacy skills and, when appropriate, creative and peaceful resolutions of those legal disputes through mediation. Ms. Mann’s innate compassion and understanding, combined with her experience, skills and training as a litigator and mediator, enable her to adjust her approach to the matter at hand to seek the best outcome for her clients.

Ms. Mann founded her law firm in 2007 so she could continue her efforts assisting those in need of high-quality legal representation in and around West Milford, New Jersey and northern New Jersey. She represents litigation clients in Passaic County, Bergen County, Sussex County and Morris County courts and state-wide for transactional matters that do not require court appearances. She currently focuses her practice in the areas of Small Business, Nonprofit Corporations, Special Education, Wills, Matrimonial and other Family Law, residential real estate transactions, civil and family mediation and general litigation.

Ms. Mann is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Ohio, and has been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of Ohio and the United States Tax Court. Ms. Mann also has been specially trained in civil mediation and is included on the statewide roster of court-appointed mediators as a R. 1:40 qualified mediator. Ms. Mann is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, the West Milford Chamber of Commerce and the West Milford Newcomers Club.
